Manchu Vishnu ‘Kannapa’ Postponed During Prabhas Dates?

Manchu Vishnu’s upcoming film Kannappa is being shot at Ramoji Film City. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has recently completed his part in the movie, while popular actor Prabhas is yet to join the sets. Although Prabhas had earlier agreed to shoot for three days in mid-April, his dates were later rescheduled for his other project Kalki in the first week of May.

Reports suggest that the Kannappa team has postponed shooting Akshay Kumar’s portions until Prabhas finishes his part. However, Prabhas has not allotted any new dates for the movie yet. Despite this, Vishnu seems confident that Prabhas will complete his shooting this month.

In the film, Akshay Kumar will play Lord Shiva, while Prabhas will play Nandeeshwar. The movie also stars Mohanlal, Shivraj Kumar, Nayanthara, R Sarathkumar, Mohan Babu, and Brahmanandam in important roles. The film is being directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by 24 Frames Factory with a whopping budget of Rs. 100 crores, making it the most expensive film in Manchu Vishnu’s career.

The majority of the film has been shot in New Zealand, and the first look has already garnered a positive response. Kannappa is set for a pan-India release and is scheduled to hit the screens next year.
